CoStar Subscription Request Form (and Orientation Training) - Professors

This form is used to request a subscription to the CoStar product.  You will be prompted for some basic information and to agree to only utilize the CoStar product for academic use.  If you have any questions or need support, please email university@costar.com.

IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ: Professors, only request a personal subscription if you know your school/department has obtained a subscription to the CoStar product.  

Professors, you can provide the elearning.costar.com link to students in your classes if they need subscriptions.  Please send them the instructions and encourage them to READ CAREFULLY.  Please give your students a deadline.  Any students requesting access after the rest of the class is processed (not meeting the deadline) may wait several weeks to get access.  Once you are sure that all of your students have requested subscriptions, please email university@costar.com so that we know to submit those requests to CoStar Support.  We will not respond to emails directly from students requesting access and/or saying they have completed the request form.  IF YOU DO NOT NOTIFY US, YOUR STUDENTS WILL NOT RECEIVE SUBSCRIPTIONS!

Professors, if you requested and received a subscription in a prior semester, it should not have been deactivated.  Test you previous login before you request a new subscription.

STEP 2: Use the following instructions to fill out the form below:

Name:

  • Please be sure to enter your first and last name as you would like it to appear on any possible certificates in the future.

  • Please enter the name that your students would recognize.

Email:

  • Please provide your “.edu” email address (or equivalent in non-US countries) for your school.  If you enter anything other than an ".edu" email address (or equivalent), your subscription request will not be fulfilled.  If you had a subscription before, please use that same email address.
