Student Request Form: CoStar Subscription & Orientation Training

To request a subscription to the CoStar product, full completion of this form is required. You will be asked to provide basic information and confirm that you will use CoStar only for academic purposes.

Only request a personal subscription if your professor has instructed you to do so. We can process your request only after receiving confirmation from your professor; without confirmation, you will not receive a subscription.

Quick Reference Checklist 

• You must provide your institutional '.edu' email address (or the local academic equivalent outside the U.S.).
• If you have already requested a subscription for a class this semester, you do not need to complete the form again.
• Enter your name as you would like it to appear on any certifications.
• All student access is terminated on June 30th and December 31st unless your professor has made prior arrangements with the Academic Engagement team. 
• If you requested a subscription in a prior semester, you must use the same email address. If your name or email address has changed, provide the updated details in the designated field on the form.
  
• Once you've completed the form, notify your professor.  We will not respond to emails directly from students requesting access, they must come from a professor/faculty member for the entire class. 
• If you are completing the subscription form after your professor has requested access for the rest of the class (not meeting their deadline), it may takes several weeks for you to have access.
